We’re on to Brighton!
One week from today HUB Sports Boston will be launching our brand-new basketball leagues in Brighton Center at the Thomas Edison School. You have the option of playing ball on either Monday or Tuesday between 7-9 PM. Does it get much better than that? Brighton Center is a thickly settled area in the suburbs of Boston. If you live in Brighton you likely know all about tandem parking, the Green Line, and you’ve probably had a drink or five at White Horse Tavern. That’s Brighton in a nutshell, you’re not paying an arm and a leg for rent just yet and that’s why the area attracts such a young crowd. You get a little bit of everything in the area but one thing you don’t get much of is indoor sports. Why you ask? Well, there just aren’t too many options to chose from. We have never offered indoor sports leagues in Brighton yet so we’re quite excited to be the only organization establishing a foothold in the area. If you live in Brighton you can likely walk right over to the school, if you’re coming by car there is endless street parking right out in front. If you don’t have a car and you live a little distance away, there’s even more good news for you. The Green line will drop you off less than a half mile away and the bus will drop you right on Washington St which is less than a quarter mile away. Let’s face it everyone, 2018 is more about convenience than ever before. Why sacrifice your precious time any longer than you have to? No one wants to do that.
So what do you get when you sign up for a basketball league with Hub Sports? You get a six week regular season plus one week of playoffs for starters. Games are on the hour and will be played at either 7 or 8 PM. While you’re on the court you will be provided two IAABO certified officials in addition to one scorekeeper. No need to keep a running score or win by two because the score and time will be consistently displayed on scoreboard for your convenience. We want you guys looking good out there too so we’re hooking all teams up with a set of nine “dry-fit” cut off jerseys. The swag doesn’t stop there, you’re also getting a team duffel bag and official Spaulding basketball. In addition to everything you get on the court, you’re also going to have tons of access to features online; including the league schedule with scores posted, daily updated standings, stats, and plenty more. The only question now is, what are you waiting for?
